which one of these programs do you guys use or recommend to chop up your samples?
ive been using audacity for a while and ive gotten real good at it, and i started audition a few months ago, and im gettin the hang of that. the think is, ive been hearing so much good stuff about recycle, so which would be better?

well with recycle u could chop ur samples faster, but other than that, dosent really matter.

or audacity ?  a good one, too.
Which one ever works for you. You can just about use anything that is a wave editor even this program NCH makes called Wavepad.

yeah, but does adobe have the auto chop feature like recycle?

HOW MANY TIMES DID I ASK IF YOU COULD CROP AND NO ANSWER lol from now on i'm using adobe and ReCycle as my dream team. What i'ma do is chop wat i want loosely in adobe crop it in Re so it's a perfect loop then have my wicked way with it mwahahahah

i kinda do wot someone said earlier,loosly chop a sample into like 10 or 15second segments,then get recycle to chop it automatically.
recycle has the advantage that u can set the chop points an export it all at once,rather than selecting a chop,then saving each one individually at a time like you do in audition.iv not worked out how to delete a part in recycle yet tho(probly somethin really simple but...),so u will get all the chops instead of manually selecting them like i do audition.i only really use recycle when im feeling lazy an cant be bothered to go thru the sample,if im being honest.
at the end of the day,they both do the same thing if u using it for chopping,so if u already have audition an like it,then i dont think theres much point in payin for recycle.id rather get a new vst or somethin instead,more benefit in my eyes.

Get Soundforge or Wavelab to export all at once.

Yea, it has auto chop. Edit > Auto cue > Find beats and mark

Learn how to propertly use audition, u dont have to save them one by one, lol. Its called 'Cue-list'
