Where should I look to find some good standing bass? Recently I have been listening to alot of Blues... Muddy Waters, BB King, Robert Johnson, ETC... But I can't find any good standing Bass all by itself with no other instruments playing while it's going on... I really need this, let me know where I should look.

go to Borders bookstore and like in the cd section. they have all kinds of intrument cd's there. i found brass, classical guitar, harp, and bass. they are good quality too.
if that doesn't work try sample cd's. if you still having trouble maybe i can slide you some joints. Peace Fam.

absolutely. and ron carter, he played bass on dozens of old studio jazz recordings, not too slow not too fast. any remastered cd with him in it will work good for samplin upright bass. look for old herbie hancock or miles davis from the 60's theres a few bass solos, intros and what not that may work. you'll have to do alot of listening

change......makes you want to hustle
