How is it that a man can post something like need opinion on work and like two people will check it. But if said man writes that his dog can dance to dilla, like 500 niggas will respond. I thought the purpose of this site was t promote growth and bring like minded folks together for a common cause. How can we get better when we dont embrace the growth and only embrace the end result. Or what we know we can take a stance on and not be veiwed as though we wack or somethin of the sort. Just my opinion.

I feel you, do you need help with something...? There are FEW producers that produce for the love of music..99% of the rappers, producers, singers, etc today are in this to "be known" to "act hard" to "make a quick buck" or there just riding the bandwagon with the rest of the white tee, gold teeth wearing followers.

I agree with sirflex. Not many in here are in it cuz of the love of music, most wanna be the next DL4 (whack as $H!T). And as far as critiquing others beats I stopped doing that a long time ago, most are whack and most dont appeal to my taste in hip hop music. Most are commercial sounding, sound like they were based off **** they heard on the radio...waste of my time, I'm busy on my next project tryin to make em wish they never got in the game

I have been gone for seven months. I had just really got into tryin out samplin and I made a couple of beats. I wont dare say I produced caue my level of technical expertise aint there yet, well I am back home foe a while and I want to know what people thought of my direction. How it sounded and what to work on. Thats is all really. And thanks for the reply. I greatly appreciate it man. Keep it movin. In the spirit.

I know what u mean. Many on here are very ego-tripped  I posted a pack of my remixes the other day, they all loaded it like crazy, but were too lazy to say a word or two. Haha. All you can do is learn from it and not giving out freebies anymore, lol.

Lol, people wont give you feedback unless you offer them feedback in return. In all honesty, it's tough getting PROPER feedback on this site. People ask for honest talk, people tell the truth and the original duke starts talking smack like he knows s/he's the sh*t and their opinion counts like crap. I suggest you take it to the Reviews section as some cats are there who will give you a decent opinion (but you got to offer them feedback in turn, which kinda gets you comments like; "Yeah, nice beat...check mine out <insert thread>", lol).
