Maybe someone here will nitpick the examples of where I'm wrong but, in general, it's hardly possible and not practical to try to make Reason drums sound like what's on vinyl. 9th Wonder and Premiere sample vinyl drums BECAUSE there is no other way to get all those different sounds so quickly. They may use additional stuff to supplement those vinyl drums (usually involving adding a low synth-type drum kick or sub bass).

But for real..try sampling old-school drums off vinyl and you will feel Jimi Hendrix-level experienced.
