Anyways, other than that, what I wanted to ask is, I'm having difficulties matching my drums in beat with my samples, is there a technique to matching the drums, or is it something you just have to work with until you get it right?

I'm guessing the latter one

I'll tell you one thing I do. I record the sample onto my software and I keep adjusting the tempo of the project (without timestretching the audio) until i see that the snare hits on beat 2 of the measure. Then I have the tempo dead on. And if the snare on beat 4 doesn't hit exactly, then I'll just cut the sample in two and move that second part over a bit. Hopefully that makes sense. But if youre using hardware, I have no idea.

man the records you sample our hots. Work on you drumloops need mad work and sample too choppy you get these things working and watch out world because you know how to pick hot samples. Keep working lil' homie. Christ is in the house.

I use Acid Pro to make my beats work real well for me sorry I couldn't help you on matching everything up but if you have Acid Pro 5.0 or 6.0 use that I have no problems matching things up.
