theres a few ways you can use recycle to make rex loops, but its kinda hard to get the quality rex loops that you get from rex refills, or just chop up your samples and load em into redrum... or if your really brave you can try rewiring out to another app like FL studio

Technically, you can't "sample" into Reason because Reason doesn't record audio. But you can load a sample into one of its virtual instruments (ReDrum, NN-19, or the NN-XT). Dr.REX uses REX files so you have to convert a sample into a REX file to use it in this instrument. Personally, the NN-XT gives you more flexibility in mapping and playback of your samples, but it takes a little bit of learning to get used to. NN-19 is easier because it will map out the sample for you. Hope this helps.

If you wanna put a loop into reason, the sample must be converted to a wave or aiff file.once you do that open up the nn-xt and then open up the remote editor.you'll see a folder in the upper left corner that says load sample, click that, then it'll open up, and where ever you have the file, let's say you have it on your desktop,go to it and select it.thats it...
This joint was done, vocals, samples, using the techniques i've said, and all on reason.
it's good to make a folder to put your samples in so they'll be easy to find.
