Not to sound like a jerk but....
Snares are the easiest of the drums to sample off of vinyl because their is always open hits on records. You will find the sickest snares off of recordS. Check James Brown records and some others...

If you dig REALY hard you will start to come across rare breaks with some DOPE sounds on it

or you could also google snare sounds....
Also if you look on mpcforums.com the members always give away drums

go to Guitar Center, buy a snare drum. Take it home and put it inside your oven. When you take it out, you will find one hot snare. repeat this process until you have a full library full of hot snares. Do the same with your kicks, your crashes, even your soul records.
