I wish I could help but I need some decent crashes as well. I only have a few, one is too dark and the others are too thin. Let me know if you get any.

Crashes are always a problem with me...so far...the best crashed that I've come across are in the Cakewalk TTS-1 vst...NI Battery...and there are a few good ones in the FPC kit...but those are too hard and blah...I need some soft whistful type ish...

or maybe I'm just being too picky...

Just EQ a few different samples and layer em till you get what you want. Make your own.

use the ones in FL and adjust the velocity. I have found a few good ones off soundfonts from sf2midi's site too.

simple technique is find a crash from some recod or break witha crash.

listen carefully and find out what side the crash is hanging the most...

pan it to the middle as much as you can, then mono it in the middle.

or just mono the side that you can hear it initially click...
