After listening to the Timbaland sample mixes:

it made me think if Timbaland pays to have his samples cleared because in some of the album credits on some of the albums he produced for he doesn't state the source of the sample. Even in a Scratch magazine a few months ago he even said he doesn't sample
(which is a lie). What do y'all think?
