I use nn-xt as my software sampler. I use acid/recycle to chop and loop samples and then map them to my midi keyboard.
My question is do hardware samplers have any major advantages over software samplers? I was thinking of a hardware sampler more along the lines of an ASR-10 or EPS-16. (Any suggestions would be appreciated.)
Another question is when I chop up my sample and create another melody using different arrangements of the sample, how do I make it sound smooth? I'm having trouble with smoothness between chopped up samples.
Thats why I thought a hardware sampler might be easier in creating smooth, natural transitions.
Are hardware samplers also useful in detecting bpm's of selected loops, b/c I'm having trouble with bpm matching with software?
Peace. Thanks, bye.
Is "MixMeister BPM Analyzer" anygood? I heard good things about it.
