sounds are like words on a book... u can copywrite the book.. but not the words thats in it.. if you take those words and make a whole new book .. how can they prove anything?? how can they even recognize their "recorded sounds" .... lol... all i'm sayin is.. i used to be paranoyd about that whole clearin stuff man.. but now i see that there are ways to get around that... and isn't that what makes samplin a "art"?? you cant tell me if i chop somthin up and make a whole new melody i can get sued.. because after like 10 minutes.. i dont even remember where it came from...

theres big producers that sample all day.. and never clear anything.... and thats why they get paid so much... u cant get good sounds from a triton or a motif... u get those real sounds from old joints... unless u into makin pop music... i'm just sayin yo.... even swiz be doin that.. lot of his new stuff is all samples but no clearin.. cause he got so good at it.. he is willing to risk it and say it's all his...... lol
