ok well i have some tight samples i wanna chop up

but i wanna chop them the mpc way manuely where i can chose from where to where is teh first chop and ****

but when i do that i have chops that are not a full bar or full 2 bars like there shorter or whatever and i was wondering do i have to timestrech all my samples to make them perfect so i can lay them out

cuz when i try and lay them out i can't get a good melody cuz some of my chops won't end at the end of the bar

i dunno if u got what i mean?

You might be cutting them wrong, i belive thats the problom. time streatch wont help. you have to have your cuts made perfect

cut them up using a computer program....so you can look at the wavs, and see exactly where the slices are and then toss em on to the mp

i dunno if anyone is getting my question


ok if u look at someone using a mpc to chop and makes a beat
all they do is chop the camples and chose the start point and end point and they never timestrecth or anything

but yet when they play differn't chops they always end up been perfectly set on time so its not off beat get what i mean

like they play pad 1 2 3 5 1 and it loops perfectly

any ideas why?

get the ear then dominate the game....the sampling sh*t IS good but w/o the ability to chop and then chop and then re-Arrange...there goes that word ( ARRANGE ) AND FIX THE sample to your likeing...you have to find the niche..for the sampling game...a piece that people go damn that was classic
