i need some pointers for good hiphopbass considering that there are so many different patches....the "hiphop" ones that are there feels more belonging to clubtracks and not samplebased warm deep souly kind of bass, do you catch my drift

that sure is an option yes, but i feel i have more control and flexibility using a module for bass...and everybody speaks so highly and well about trilogy, but stïll no one uses it? i just want some feedback from ppl that is and have been using it for a while to create basslines for samplebased hiphop, cause a lot of the presets and patches feels more towards club hiphop...i just wanna know if there are some nice things in it for samplebased production

its kinda interesting that this vst-module isnt used at all , so i turn my question the other way then: what vst do you use for your basslines instead of trillogy?

Yea I use trilogy for samples. I usually only mess wit the accoustic and electric sections though. As far as the hip hop section i gotta disagree with u, dope bass just cut a little of the highs out and there u go.

yeah i use trilogy with sample based hip hop... I just sample a couple notes from trilogy into the mpc and then put em on the mpc pads and play it like that... I use sub bass most of the time.. u just need to filter the highs out and any bass sound will sound good for sample based rap
