Hello,
I have a casio ct 680 (pretty old) but it has midi capabilities. I have midi cables and the midi converter to hook the keyboard up to my computer.
My question is how can I hear the sounds on reaktor by playing on the casio keyboard in real-time. I know that something like this is possible because I did it with cakewalk, but I have forgotten how I did it.
Any advice or links will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Jaby

If you have a regular soundcars. Live / AWE32 whatever. You plug your midicables into the MIDI/GAMEPORT on the back of the card (15 Pin plug.)
In reaktor you should find some midi options. I haven't tried it yet, but you should be able to find it in the preferences sections.
Find a place where you choose "MIDI IN", and the you should probably select "Roland MPU 401" which is standard on most cards. It should be related to the MIDI interface on your soundcard anyway.
This is how you do it in all soft-synths so I believe it should do for Reaktor too.
