Hi,

Yesterday I got my copy of Reason. This is the first softsynth that I ever bought and I am really happy with it: excellent design, intuitive user-interface and off course a great sound.

However, I still have some problems like how do I connect a matrix to a second synth? I couldn't really find a lot of stuff on the web related to this program with tutorials, demo-songs, message-boards,...

The propellerheads.se site has one(1!) tech-info and support page, probably because it is too new.

Maybe I didn't look hard enough but does anyone know of any good Reason-related sites??

Thanks

I know a lot about Reason, so I'll see what I can do, as far as connecting another Matrix to a Subtractor, just hit tab, and you click and drag from the Matricie's Note, Gate and Curve CVs up to stuff, as far as a notes, hook the two Note things together. I'm sorry I can't I can't give really in depth instructions since I'm in school, I dont have access, but if you Create a Matrix right under a subtractor, then it should automaticlly hook them up.

Hey Kubina,

Thanks for your reply.
Here is what I did. I start with the basic setup with already a substractor and matrix working. Then underneath the matrix I create a new Subtractor and another matrix.

I checked the connections at the back and they seem to be exactly the same. Is there sth. that I forgot like in the sequencer?

The problem you seem to be having is that you've got the wrong device selected when you chose to add the subtractor and matrix

scroll all the way to the bottom of the default setup where the matrix is. click at a portion of the unused rack to select the entire rack. then add the subtractor, which should then automatically select it (yellow outline around it). once the subtractor is selected add another matrix and you've got two seperate pattern sequencers with their own synths..
