i wanted to sample a line from a song, and i wanted to have the same effect that paul wall song "girl" has on it. how do i go about taking out the beat out of the original(i was told to mess around w/ eqs, and also use fl slicer..so do i slice it in lil' pieces and turn the volume down where the beat might be? ) but you know how some samples have that sound where it sounds like the pitch has been turned up or something...that effect.
