Hello everybody!!!

I'm from Brazil and i'm glad to become part of this comunity.
Well, i really love eletronic rock (nin, new order, Manson, Orgy...etc) and i used to have a band, but now i'm on my own and i've been wanting to start on computer music, record a demo cd of my songs and form a band then, i'd like to know what do i need to begin???
(i've been think about bying an Akai Sampler, what do you think about that, and there's too many differences between S3000 and S5000??)

Thanks
and sorry for my poor english

if you are just getting into the electronic biz. i would start off with some sort of workstation synth/sampler something with a sequencing ability. and when picking out equipment buy things that make sense in the future. don't go cheap if you are gunna replace it in 6 weeks cause you are limeted to its features. a used ensoniq eps or asr 10 could fill your void and get you started sequencing and sampling. later on you could add on sound moduals and use that same sequencer.
