blur (old stuff) is the definitive britpop.
(new stuff) maybe alternative (i dunno)?
isn't supergrass britpop? (i dunno about this one.)
nirvana is definitely grunge. so is pearl jam.
i think blink 182 and green day are technically called punk revival, but i dont know why, as punks detest both of these bands.
sum 41 wants to be a heavy metal band, modeled after iron maiden.
