i just purchased fl studio and i know that you are supposed to read the thread to get the information befor poston but i did read the thread and stil;l found myself very cvonfused. I dont know how to upload the song into the "playlist editor". In other words i am kinda of a dumbass and need a little more specifics when it comes to that type of stuff. so here is what i kno about it so anyone can tell me what i am doin wron.

1. I open up fl then i right click on any one os the sound patterns (ex. kick clap hihat snare) a scroll down menu comes up and i goto load sample.

2. I tryed to import a beat to slice and midi file and that sounded demb.

3. I loaded the sample with that load sample crap and i don't know how to get the music from in the background off.

4. I read the forum again and i don't know where the hell i am supposed to drop the file into exactly i know its supposed to be the playlist editor but what is the playlist editor and how do i get to it .

I know that this may be the dumbest post ever but i just need help on how to sample tracks so that i may follow in kanye's footsteps any feedback would be greatly appreciated
