anyone know of any techniques i can use to remove drums from a sample in fruity loops???

all you do is simply beat match the drums of the original sample...or if you want the time consuming way I'D SAY... get a sample put it in the audio/wave editor when you slice..slice over a drum ....cue it up to go in the sequencer you are using esp if it;s FLSTUDIOS and then wa-la ala replace drums with your own concoction of soft or hard depending on the attack within the original sample of the kicks and time between each kick...damn i'm good

hahahaahah nice...ill give that a try...cuz the EQ didnt work...the drums are kinda in the mid level of the beat...and it sound ****ty when i take the mid out on eq....but ill let u know how the whole "cutting" of the drums goes

if you have the drums as solo (a break) you can use a vst called "kn0ck0ut" to remove them.

you can layer them by basing your drums on the sample's if you can't eq them since they are usually in the same frequency as vocals so it would sound better if you base your kicks on the kicks in the sample

It can't be done. Filtering helps, but only if you plan to layer a drum track that is somewhat close to the pattern of the original.
