I'm not if it works for any of your software but check this out...

It's all dependens on how the original track was mixed though.

yeah its not possible to completely remove vocals, the best you can do is just lower the level of the vocals by a lot, enough to have somebody rap over it and you can't really hear the vocals in the sample.

and yeah it all depends on the track you are sampling. some songs the vocals will remove some songs it wont.

i used a program called Gold Wave
that was the closest i ever got to COMPLETELY removing vocals, but i've never tried that extra boy software so u might wanna try that too.

Yeah, its not a complete soultion to totally removing the vocals. But it can be good in certain instances to remove most of them. But you are left with things such as reverb of the vocals and the backing singers vocals. Good luck with it.

other solutions would be.

Low pass filter it for the verse, so it's just the bass line.

find some other part of the song to cut up for the verse.

Might work on older songs, but it won't on new stuff.

Most programs which host VST's/DirectX i.e Cubase, Adobe Audition.

Install it by unzipping it into your vst folder (where all your other vst .dlls are e.g. Steinberg/VstPlugins or whatever...). Then load your program....Cubase loads it automatically, otherwise you may have to refresh the VST list or something.

I'm not sure if it works in real time, Ive only used it in Audition...so
highlight the area of vocals you want to filter and then use the various preset options.
