Hi,
I sample many Drums and Breaks from my Records. But ther are to quiet ,they dont have this "soul" and kickin feelen.
Can somebody help me and say what programs or plugins must i use to have a nice and deep drum sound ? I use SoundForge...but i dont see anything interesting ther !

EQ, layering and compression.... there are loads and loads of threads on these things. I like layering...

Yeah i know...But can you recomend me some good programs or plugins for that ?

Im not sure about Soundforge but I use Adobe Audition for all my editing/layering and then Reason handles my compression. Audition has loads of effects and it can host vst's. For instance, I have an old version of Cubase SX and Audition allows me to use all the plug-ins from that. I normally use free plug-ins found on the net. Try out Fish fillets
