I just remembered, that you can sample off of dish networks music channels that come at the 900's and 6000's. They have every style of music there is, i dont know how you guys are going to record them but i jsut use a y connector, and my minidisc player to record them and then i transfer the clips to my computer. Try it. If you dont want to sample from there it can give u ideas on what vinyls and cds to buy. Good luck.
