For all of you wondering about The Prodigy and if they were still doing stuff, YES THEY ARE!

A new CD planned to come out in Summer 2001 titled "Always out numbered, Never out Gunned".

That's all I know, Liam wanted to take A LOT of time(as you can see) because he knows he has to live up to some huge expectations, so he'll take his dear time with this one.

Personally, i think Keith has to go... Maxim is still cool, he actully sounds good when he sez or sings stuff in their songs. Keith sounds like a moron, and looks like one too.

I have never really listened to Prodigy, so I really don't know why I'm replying...anyway just wanted to give you support! Increase the peace.

Foes are as unlimited as the extent of space; they cannot possibly all be overcome. Yet if you just overcome the thought of hatred, that will be equal to overcoming all foes. Where is the leather with which one can cover the earth? But wearing a leather sandal is equal to covering the earth with leather

i just hope we can still count on to The Prodigy. so many bands and artists have completely changed their style with their after-few-year-comeback and some of them REALLY suck on their new style. Prodigy has always rocked and hopefully stays with that way. good thing is that Liam won't release the album before it's really finalized.

peace!

hardcore?

well I woudlnt use this term (in techno, hardcore refers to Gabber.. the amsterdam one... ) I wouldnt say hardcore..

->

I would say, great blend of multiple cultures and influences, from Sex Pistols to rock and from DrumnBass to Big Beat. Also, some new age color to the melodies and harmonics.

Each of their album represent very well our time in general. Lot of peopel dont like them because they didnt stay underground very much.. I say their albums are very well composed and deserve respect.

gabber is gabber.

hardcore is hardcore.

hardcore is the originator of drum and bass in general. hardcore also used breaks, I'm speaking of the ORIGINAL hardcore which was hot 10 years ago. Like 2 Bad Mice, 808State, and the cheesy Baby D.

Hardcore then split up into happy hardcore (that's what most ppl call "rave" nowadays) and jungle. jungle mutated into drum and bass.

that's da story.

Prodigy isn't hardcore, but I sure would like to think that happy hardcore is not rave too. Rave can sound disturbing, dark and pret-ty underground but happy hardcore's synths are always cheering up. Am I wrong?

<- I love this new version! ->
