Thats a good set up yeah but what softwear are you using though?
if you havent gotten any yet i think soundforge is the best one. i use wavelab now(cos i cant find my soundforge CD and a friend gave me that)you can do the job with that but you can manipulate the sound better in soundforge imho.
i use concord needles(the blue ones). alot of dj's prefer the Shure ones but there not better for sampling they are used cos the producers are also turtabalist into scratching and juggling and they are more accurate for that. but i don't see anything wrong with using the stanton ones that came with ur turntable.
