asr-10.....

the eps is a great machine...no doubt....but the 10 does everything the eps does plus more...and does it better.....

i own an eps classic....for the record...
and used to use an asr10 on a regular basis in the studio......

the effects on the asr-10 are legendary...plus it has a resampling engine and tape input so you can literally record vocals if you wanted to into the asr-10 as well as make a beat...

the resampling function really lets you add layers of dirt to your samples......you can sample and then resample with effects over and over and make a sample sound completely different

The ASR is nice as hell, but if u only need somethin to DIRTY up ur samples... u might just check into a rack sampler. Like Akai S950 or somethin.

I see your fear. I see your greed. Only when I plunge... will you see me. Prick.

i was gonna say the same thing except ive never used an asr10 or seen one in person for that matter but think about it this one the EPS is the beginning of the ASR10 I just wish the ASR was 12 bit

el-p might disagree with you. and that fool has banging drums. then again, he uses the eps-16+, not the eps.

yep....

the plus has effects built in.....the classic has no effects at all....just some basic lfo filters......

if your going for the 16+ its cause you want a 10 and dont wanna spend the dough.....other then that...it makes no sense to not cop a 10 if you can afford it.......
