I'm looking for a pretty good 3-4 octive keyboard so I can use it with my software synth programs for personal use.
Is there any specifics I should be on the look out for?
The Evolution MK149 looks appealing. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

yes the MK149 is quite good for the cheap price. it is not the best midi controller, but it does the job.

look also for the transparent one they sell for 100 dollars. it is as good and easier to move around, it is also cheaper.

Hi,

I just got an MK-149 only 2 days ago.

An all round good controller really, it does the job (well).
Not sure what more i can say.

£75.00 from either Sound Control, or Academy of Sound.

onload: the best? there is no best, it depends how serious you are on the keyboard! some of them cost 3000 USD! some are 100 USD and will do the job as well depending on what you use it for

hah!

in general the 100 USD MK149 is just fine to start
