D'you think if Jimi Hendrix was with us today, would he be into RHCP? Crosstown Traffic almost sounds like one of their songs, and they did a cover of fire. and breaking the girl is a rip off of manic depression.

Most of his songs are genius, but I gotta say some tracks make me cringe - like that one with the keyboardy thing at the beginning - Angel?

I think Jimi would have the good taste to avoid the RHCP (Really Heavy Cerebral Paresis).
My guess is he'd love Pavement and Guided By Voices.

Actually something that would have stomped the sh!t out of anything you are talking about was about to happen (if I am to believe wildy unsubtantiated rumors):

Jimi was supposed have played with Miles Davis!

I wish that I could even imagine what that would have sounded like, but I can't even imagine what that would have sounded like...

anyway... it would've kicked a$$ all over...
