everybody that samples will sometimes run into the problem of finding a good sample. so i thought it would be cool if we all shared one or two of our samples. not postin audio but namin the song and artist. and dont name no stupid stuff like, bootsy collins "id rather be with you". cuz we all know that. but im figurin yall wont do that.

here is some for you:

lenny williams - trust in me
johnny taylor - your love is rated x
cheap trick - mighty wings
bon jovi - wanted dead or alive
millie jackson - child of god
fame - live forever

i can't post some of my best resources here, but if you're interested in classical samples i'd look into beethoven, bach, wagner and chopin

I dont have any specific tracks to mention but good artists to look into would be Curtis Mayfield, The O'jays, Otis Redding, Betty Wright, George Benson, and if you just wanna listen and party get some Rick James.

True, but there's a lot of good drum breaks and horns you could get with those artists.

And plus its just good to listen to that music.

you dont have to give away none of your gems that you dug for and you know that we dont know about. just name some songs you have sampled or know that are good to sample.
