Ok....One of my good friends from school has a dad who teaches music and plays about fifteen instruments. I was talkin to a bud about a record store trip I went on yesterday and she told me about her dad's record collection. To my surprise it was all filled with uptempo jazz and soul.

So....I ask her to talk to her dad about them and where they are. I tell her to tell her dad that'll I'll make every record into a CD or pay or whatever because he has a bookshelf full of about 500 recordds.

Then..she comes back the next day and tells me that he gave them all to a goodwill a few years ago. I then go to both thrift shops in my city and none are there.

Terrible luck

when we moved here from jamaica we left some furniture and a few hundred of my dad's records with a family friend. my dad's music taste is eclectic as hell. now it's been a couple years and we're ready to call the dude to send 'em back to us and.....this number has been disconnected.

When my family was moving we went to our old house and got all of the **** we wanted out of it, and the rest we either threw away of gave to the people moving in. Well my dad had probably between 50 and 100 records in the basement, but while we had been at our new house getting settled there was a huge rain storm and the basement flooded or something and the god damn records warped, so we had to throw em out.

I sampled Supertramp and all I got was my publishing jacked up.
