i am trying to connect mt AT2035 with my fast tack pro. now i set everything up right i think. but there is no sound coming up. i say i am pretty sure it is set up right because when i plug a dynamic mic in witht he on and off switch i can hear fine, but when i plug the condenser in, there is NOTHING. any1 have any advise? i really need help with this 1

i was thinking do u think it could be the cable? i have it plug into the mic and the opposite end of cord is a TRS tip. think i should just go XLR?

I am not familiar with your interface , but I can imagine that phantom power may not be present on the TRS socket .
It would be worth a go to try an xlr to xlr lead indeed .
(Although you could dvm the xlr plug for 48volt if you know how to and have a meter)

fast track pro . it should be though, the 2 inputs on front are dual mic/instrument. this was a brand new mic. i mean i can hear like if im messing with the xlr end that is pliugged into the mic end i can hear noise from the speakers. like if i tap my ring on it i hear it, but the mic wont pick up anything when u talk into it

Get an XLR to XLR balanced lead and give it a try .

alright, im going to run to RS and give it a try. ill be back with a update. if i cant figure it out i might call it DOA and get it replaced through warranty.

ive also read that it might need a power adapter to, im gonna try both ways
