Hi everyone Im new here (this is actually my first post) and I've been using reason to make beats now its just lately that i've been interested in doing remixes so I now have Pro tools installed. When I open up the application, I get a popup message saying 'unable to located digidesign hardware, please connect and turn and then press ok'. I have a casio wk200 and use that as a midi keyboard. It works fine with any program like reason, garageband, etc, but even though it is connected I cant get into Pro tools! How do I make this work please any help would be so appreciated!

whenever you give off something like this that is technical it's wise to give the specs of your computer, what type of computer you're running (Mac/Pc), which version of protools are you running( 6.4/7.3/7.4/8.0), are you running an MBox, 002R interface or some other interface etc. Protools will not work with just any interface.
Seems like a Digi folder my not be where it suppose to be. If the interface is looking for the path that Digi is suppose to be then that will come up, it's not communicating.
You may have to uninstall and reinstall again and follow directions precisely.

LOL now that's funny, you know dude personally or something? From his post he didn't say he had pirated PT. So either you know dude has pirated software on a personal level or he is just stuck. Which is it?

this is too funny but anyway dogg pro tools wont work unless you have a digidesign interface that compatible if you don't have it then your stuck and you also need a ilok so 9 times of 10 your pro tools is pirated lol.
