I've never used iZotope Trash, but I know that iZotope has some good VST's. Right now the only one I actually use is iZotope Vinyl. I'm not sure if you'd be able to find one better than that. Be more specific then just saying better cause people will just come here and post a bunch of bullsh*t software. What exactly do you want it to do different?
It's not really made for hip hop, it's mainly made for guitar, rock music and such... i was hoping for something that would help distort hip hop lead synths.
Maybe you just need to adjust it and play around with it. I just googled it and found this link to another forum. Read it, you might learn something. Idk if we're allowed to post links to other forums though, so this thread might get removed.
