Did you get the special package that comes with Beetmaker VST?

My only qualm (holy f*ck I just used the word qualm) about 9 just happened today...

I was going through some beats with a friend, showing him some new ideas, and the ones he liked I exported as mp3...No problem, until one particular beat just decided to be off-beat somehow after it was exported.

I went back to other beats, re-exported them and they are fine, its this one f*cking beat that won't export properly and I can't f*cking figure it out. I didn't even change anything on the beat, I played it within FL, went to export, and the drums and instruments don't line up properly. Export settings are all the same, made sure the patterns were snapped to the grid, piano roll was straight, tempo was correct...

It's not even really obvious, but I can tell it just doesn't sound right when A/B'ing it between mp3 in WinAMP and playing it within FL. It's like a slight latency between the drums and instruments.

I think FL is trying to tell me I suck, and it's the worst feeling in the world...

That's mighty weird sir..

But honestly, between your avatar and sig, I can NOT take anything you say seriously because after im done giggling about that SNL scene with Ferrell, I ALWAYS read your sig and it gets me every time..

Does it happen when you export to .wav?
Check the encode settings when you re-install, it clears the previous settings. Might have some weird swing option or something..

I would check but it takes too damn long to boot vista using bootcamp. I wish they would hurry up and code it for mac.

Oh.. you can always use the IL forums

Yeah I got several other things I need to try before I start looking for support from Image-Line, I just thought I would post that since you said FL 9 sucks.

It just happened today, and I have been unable to re-create the problem with any other project. It's really odd.

PS - My export problem is real, but I would advise you to continue to not take me seriously. Few people do, and I like it that way...

I had this same problem once before and came to realize that a certain VSTi plugin was the cause... I never figured out why or how to fix it, I just found another similar sound in a VST to switch. Then I was able to export the beat with no problem and the .mp3 was on point

the problem is most likely because its an un registered VST. Even if you bought the real version of FL studio, some of the sound packs are still demos so they are programmed to go off beat when you try 2 export them. Ive had this happen to me a few times, either you have to buy it, or replace that sound in another vst that does export.

have they changed the effects or just economised the mixing processagain by finally adding "masterise" "createrise" "singerise" etc?

I know, I am lazy
