If u like usin outboard gear then record is not for you. If u like using vst(i) then record is not for your. If u just like using reason only plus maybe recording your live inst then record is for u. I love it.

Record is hot, go to Propellerhead and look at the specs, it's Reason on steroids! It have the best time stretch I have seen in 15 years! The mixing board is gorgeous and it makes your tracks sound warm, with the new SSL board. it comes with Line 6 guitar and ID3 synth. Your Reason sessions will integrate perfectly! Mines will be here on Monday and the Demo was a dam teaser! I LOVE IT! Go to the site, call them ask them questions, but if you got Reason you will love it.

For a Reason user getting Record is a no brainer.

You can do pretty much complete productions using Record and Reason alone.

It has a few drawbacks mainly stemming from lack of VSTs and decent audio editing, but for a 1.0 version it is pretty good.

wHAT UP Jlgrimes. When you say draw back in editing what do you mean? Because I edit quickly and I love the editing in it, it's like editing like in Protools to me. YOu can cut, paste, consolidate tracks, make lanes, cut and make as one track, loop comping, move a note somewhere else on the fly etc. Reason/Record editing in on the money. You have to explain it's draw backs.

I like Record a lot - people wanted audio in and they got a lot more - The sound of this app is amazing - the mixer sounds phat - clean and crisp all in one. Highly Recommended to everyone who already has Reason.

Yeah I figure Record gets busy, If you love Reason you'll Marry Record. No more Pro Tools for me, no point in using it unless someone requests a PT file specifically. I like it alot, I think it's useful. It's an enjoyable program, if that makes any sense. And if you're familiar with Reason, you'll readily understand this.
