What's the "future love song" you're referring to?
Anything with MIDI - which basically includes almost every keyboard made after 1983 - will be capable of, well, not "running on a computer" but sending MIDI messages to it (and receiving them from...
There are 46 bundles in Waves' lineup. Which one?
There's also the thing that upping the sample rate will put more strain on your computer (but your latency drops!). With 48kHz (compared to 44.1kHz) it shouldn't be much of an issue - with 96 it can...
And even sidechaining can be sort of faked with volume automation...
You don't have to use compressors at all if they're not needed. They do what they do; whether or not you need to use them depends on the sounds and what kind of overall sound you're after. Don't use...
Well, you still need a computer though...
They're actually the only interfaces in their current product lineup. I'm just wondering whether or not they'll drop some of the "legacy" stuff at some point...in other words, I'm just a bit hesitant...
Hard to say without hearing it - whether or not it's intentional or just a side effect. Somehow I'm guessing the latter - the perceived volume "drops" as the sound gets "thinner" - ie. more...
Have you tried these out? The feel is a very personal thing...and specs-wise these are all pretty decent (although I personally think the M-Audios are very cheap feeling).
To be honest, I dislike...
Have you tried downloading the files you've uploaded yourself to see if they're still ok?
Just a Soundcloud thing for now. I didn't really even know that Hulkshare has an actual music community...
Btw, I'm pretty sure we lowered the post count needed for links to 5.
Is the Audiophile 192 still supported though? No Win8 or OSX drivers beyond Leopard...
Well, with a sampling of 5 people, it's hardly representative of anything at the moment...
No, you don't. Uncompressing zips is built into OSX nowadays, although I use The Unarchiver, which simply supports more compression formats & integrates nicely.

In other words, it doesn't change - at all - how the actual compression works; it's not really a different method of compression. Just different tech used, which can give a slightly different color...
All the ValhallaDSP stuff. Then again, they're already almost criminally cheap anyway.
CPU = Central Processing Unit. You're apparently talking about the whole computer.
