Hey everyone, this is my first time posting and couldn't find this scenario directly addressed. If there is a whole thread which discusses it I'd appreciate if you could direct me to it
Basically, I'm losing snare punch and volume after applying the generic Ableton limiter to the Master track.
Also using other processing on individual tracks (EQs, Glue Comps, Multiband Dynamics etc.)

Again, apologies if this has already been widely discussed and would appreciate a link to the right discussion.
If you would like me to go into depth about my current processing, let me know.

    Thanks!

Too much limiting and compression can have that effect. What exactly are you using and what settings?

leave yourself a lot of headroom and be careful with the effects you are adding to your snare (compression, eq, etc)
