Hey all,

Just did a new post earlier on my site about the 5 freeware VSTs I can't live without - I make house / tech house / techno mainly and have had a few releases, hopefully these plugins might help someone starting out in those genres. There is also a couple of tips on how I use the featured plugins (not saying its the correct way to use them though!)

The plugins I have featured are;
MDA Image
Digital Suburbans Dexed
TDR Kotelnikov Mastering Compressor
Camel Audio's Camelcrusher
Kjaerhus Audio Classic Master Limiter

Hope this is useful to someone

Thanks for the link and post! I need TAL II reverb in all of my tracks. Another useful one is Ambience by Magnus

hm, I'm a beginner so i just have one q. Why download different VST's if most producing software already come with pre-installed versions of them?

I found a great free VST for playing soundfont files. This VST is easy to use and is great for people that don't have a lot of money but who need a solution to use new sounds for their DAW. Once you install this VST, you can use Google to find a lot of legal and free soundfont (sf2) files for playback.
