Maybach Music audio tag tutorial

Does anyone know if there's a tutorial on how to make a tag like the "Maybach Music" with the reverb and panning?

thanks and any help is always appreciated!
 
simple thinking should suffice to eke this

  1. record the voice in mono - this will make it easier to pan the voice from left to right or vice versa
  2. use a reverb send rather than a reverb insert - this allows you specific control of the reverb return level separate from the voice
  3. automate voice channel level - this will allow you to make the voice seem to come in from far away or above with some additional eq-ing
    • small boost at 2kHz/4kHz to make the voice seem closer (no more than 3db),
    • small cut at 2kHz/4kHz to make the voice seem further away (no more than 12db,
    • small boost at 6kHz to make the voice seem closer above (no more than 3db)
    • small cut at 6kHz to make the voice seem higher up (no more than 12db)
  4. automate panning as desired for the voice
  5. automate reverb return level, reverb send level and any other reverb parameters that you think should and could be automated
