I just came across this very detailed tutorial of mix engineer Ken Lewis mixing
50 Cent's single "Down On Me".
Now the session is in ProTools but the idea applies to any audio sequencer.
There is some very good info on EQing, compression and vocal treatment in here.
I was very excited to see which plugins Ken uses and for what purpose.
Sometimes I just wouldn't have guessed what would come next.
