Side Chain Ducking is a very commonly used method to make your music pulse on beat with your drums.
Here is a tutorial on now to simulate one of the most common pumping effects (the 1-4 pulse) in your MPC Software. ( MPC Renaissance & MPC Studio)
Even though this is not technically Side Chaining it achieves the same results.
