Here is a video tutorial on the steps that are important for getting a mix started. It's split into two parts. The first covers setting levels and applying EQ while the second focuses on stereo image and reverb.

Reaaaaally nice! Did you do them? I basically just skimmed through them, and well, i can't feel completely good about using Fruity Parametric EQ2, but i'm definitely not going to complain, because this is mostly for beginners and they should be able to work with what they got for starters :). Comparing Before and After, i really like the outcome.
 
Thanks for checking out my video! I agree with using what you have when your starting out. It's a waste of money to by a bunch of third party software if you don't know how it works!
