I´ve started a new series. And –again – it´s about modular synthesis. I thought SoloStuff´smodular softsynth “SoloRack” worth a whole series of tutorials –and concipated one. Here is the first part: Installation and Overview

It´s a public part. Enjoy it! Rolf

The second part of my series oftutorials about SoloStuff´s modular softsynth “SoloRack” isonline now:
YouTube

In this second part of the series Italk about the menus and the hidden functions of SoloRack, give someexplanations about oversampling and aliasing and build up a famouspatch step by step (please see the timeline for details).

The whole series is meant to give younot only a profound knowledge about the modular softsynth SoloRack, but also a remarkable amount of knowledge about modular synthesis andeven about sound synthesis in general. It makes it easy to step intothe matter, even if you are a complete beginner (You are aprofessional? Well, you may like the series nevertheless).

Part 5 of my series of tutorials aboutSoloStuff´s “SoloRack” modular VST synthesizer is available now.It is all about frequency modulation – linear as well asexponential – and phase modulation. The video introduces andexplains the S321 FM/PM oscillator module.
