Pitch build up effect help????

I have got my vocal mixing on point, and I use Cubase, and Nuendo occasionally, but I hear songs with this awesome pitch build up effects in them, and was wondering if someone could help me do that??? Thanks in advance.........
 
try pich shift in Cubase it works jus fine...even though i use FL my frined uses cubase and i asked him and i just relay what he said.
 
if your speaking like how they do in dubstep or electronic a lot of times its a chopped up vocal or sample, and each chop is assigned a different pitch, some chops are reversed as well
