MPC 1000 loop

yo yo yo ..how the ****kkkk do i loop some ****...and then change the rate of sustain..like if i loop it..it just GOES OVER AND OVER and takes forever to die..i just want it to loop for maybe a half second after then go away..

im sure theres a setting in shift>program under parameters if u set the
decay shorter in there it tends to fix this allso changing the sample in the pragramme assign screen from ploy to mono allso helps this ...or you could just set the sample arcoss pads shorter cuts thats how i often get round this problem!

yeh i was doing that thing..where for delays i would set the sample to 16 pad velocity and just ride down from the top
