lil help with the mpd24 and fl studio 8

when i put down something on the mpd and then try to add a new pattern for lets say drums. both my sample and drums are listed as the same pattern in the mixer so i cant really do anything to the drums without messin up the sample.


anyone know how to fix this?

Interesting question as I have the same one.

Anyways, what i do is just make a new 'fpc' channel for the drums.

So I have the fpc channel that my sample is recorded onto, then the fpc channel that i will record my drums on.

ahh, i figured it out too kinda.. i just click on the pattern and in the mixer right click on one of the channels and assign selected channel.
