Hey everyone,
I think this is the place for this, i'm pretty new here and don't want to accidentally spam this sub-forum! I made a video where I go over how I made a Kontakt instrument by sampling a 1984 Juno-106.
Some cool aspects about how I did it... I used MIDI outputs to automate the sample capture process, so I just program the notes, hit record, and come back 30 minutes later to samples of every single key! Then I show I name the regions in Logic Pro X so that I can do a batch export audio with the samples named properly. This then allows me to import them into Kontakt automatically by using the note identifiers. I did make a custom GUI, but its very basic and I only briefly talk about that.
I released this instrument for free, the link is in my signature and also in the description for the video if you're interested. Just make sure to use the coupon code listed on the product page, Wix requires a minimum product cost but they let you use coupons to make products free.
