I'm about to upgrade my monitors from behringer truth b2031a's and its kinda come down to these two. I will buy used in either case and can get the yamaha's for 300 gbp or the vxt8's for 450. Has anyone heard both of these? Either of them? They will be used in quite a large room for mixing electronic music, dubstep, hiphop, trap etc but with quite a lot of live instrumentation too (I'm a guitarist and keys player too) Are the vxt's worth the extra 150? I would like this to be the last monitor purchase for a while so dont mind spending the little bit extra if its going to be worth it....
