How To Get a FULL and RICH sounding Brass Section

Layering is the trick.

Using multiple brass sounds and adding some strings to the sound will help.

Panning to get some stereo spectrum thickness also helps

You also need to use octave doublings within your own writing.

Also using 5ths/4ths will thicken the sound without compromising the underlying

Then using EQ to further shape the sound may be in order.

language used in the video and its meaning

staccato - short and sharp
marcato - marked

Yeah I forgot to mention that you can double up octaves and add intervals for interesting sounds too. At the end of the day there's no set way to do it, just techniques to experiment with!

Thanks for the view and reply BC!
