Frequency response range on speakers

I'm looking at some budget mixing speakers for home studio, never produced with speakers before, and I'm kind of confused about their frequency responses.
There is KRK ROKIT G3 series, cheapest ones begin at 45 Hz. If you synthesize a 45 Hz tone, you can clearly hear it. Does that actually mean that I won't be able to hear tones below 45 Hz? Sub-bass frequencies are located there and are very important in, say, trap music. So will this be an actual problem during production? If so, can it be solved by using headphones when I need to work with subs? Because then I could very well just go for Mackie CR3 which start at 80 Hz and are drastically cheaper (but probably inconvenient).
Thanks beforehand!

Again, I have no experience with speakers.
EDIT: Unsure if this is the right thread to ask this, apologies if it isn't.
